We are a family-owned business, led by the husband-and-wife team of John and Jacqui Doig, who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and flexibility to our customers. With over 80 years of combined experience in the national and international removal and relocation industry, our clients benefit from John's expertise as Export Packer of the Year. JD Relocation Services offers relocation, storage, and distribution solutions for international, commercial, and domestic clients. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, we cover all of Scotland, as well as national and international locations.

About Us

John Doig

With 48 years in the moving industry, John, also known as Yogi, is deeply passionate about his work. Originally from Aberdeen, he began his career at Rapid Removal at 18, where his love for removals started. Over the years, he has worked with some of the well-known relocation companies and earned great respect in the industry. John was awarded the British Association of Removers (BAR) Packer of the Year and was a runner-up in BAR’s Champion of Champions competition. His expertise in export packing and professional moving services is unparalleled.

John’s dedication to removals is extraordinary. When it comes to challenging moves, he says, "If it can be moved, it will be moved." No matter the size or awkwardness of the item, John goes above and beyond, even removing windows or using a block and tackle to move large furniture through windows.

Jacqui Doig

With over 40 years in logistics and relocation, Jacqui has gained global experience, working and traveling across many countries. Her passion for removals was ignited 37 years ago when she met Yogi, and since then, she has become an expert in both international and domestic relocations.

Like John, Jacqui is highly committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring that every customer has the best experience possible. Together, John and Jacqui share a love of travel and cultural exploration, and their global connections enable them to work with only the most reliable partners who align with their high service standards.
